Only factory defects are accepted as a reason for a return. In the case of factory defects, if available, we will replace the product for you. When returning an item, it must be in all of the original packaging and include all of the original accessories or items that came with it. The item and package should be in original and perfect condition. You will be required to cover shipping on the return of non-defective items. All returns MUST be done within 30 days of date of purchase. Please note that we cannot give refunds or replacements after the 30 day limit has expired. When sending in a return, please note that it can take up to 7 business days for the return to be processed. We do our best to process as quickly as possible. This guardrail system was perfect for my application. I had to erect 3 levels of scaffolding to fix the siding on my chimney. I was up 24 feet (18' on the third tier) and believe me, it was a little unsettling. However, the guardrail made it doable, I had something to steady my movements, and made my work being up that high safe, and doable. I would not have been able to tear the old siding off, pull out the nails, then replace it all with new siding if not for the extra security of having the guard rail there.

Works well, easy to assemble. You need outriggers if it can't be attached to something. Would give 5 stars but shorted me a carriage bolt. To difficult to get replacement from metaltech. Bought something similar at store. Metric and hard to find.

It is very easy to install. what I would like to see and for easy to move device between projects is that it needs to have the ability to fold to the sides of the base instead of having to remove it completely to be able to pass low celling.

I bought this after reading the other reviews about how this was compatible with the HF Franklin scaffold. Once I raised my scaffold up to a new level I realized that guard rails would be a good idea and I'm glad my local Home Depot had these in stock. Very easy to assemble and gives a very reassuring feeling when using. Tip: if the holes in the corner at the bottom don't line up sufficiently so that you can insert the pins, just loosen up the nuts and bolts holding the parts of the bottom toe rail together; that'll give you enough slop that you can get the pins in place, and you can then tighten up the toe rail bolts. Also, close the gate once you get up there; this is needed to make the rails sufficiently rigid.

For the price and the value of safety, this is a great bargain. I used it on a different scaffold and the poles took a little jiggling to get them to drop in, but, I got them in with little effort. A hammer and a tool if you are using it for a different brand scaffold is all you need. Good deal!

Assembled fairly easy. I am using this on a 6 ft Franklin Scaffold (HF).It fits into corner post holes but there is alot of play. Using wooden shims takes most of the play out. Closing both gates helps.This does the job as I would not trust myself working off of the platform w/o it.Unit is alright for light around the house jobs.The price at home depot was good at ~ 0 and was able to pick up the same day, no shipping charge.
