If this design looks familiar, it's because everyone in the world with a cushion factory has copied this 2004-2006 Pleasure Pedic Memory Foam Lumbar Cushion made by E. Mishan & Sons, Inc of New York. Nowadays this shape with the tailbone cut-out is ubiquitous, but they were the first to offer orthopedic-grade lumbar cushions at a reasonable price (about at Walmart circa 2006). They are made of old-school
visco-elastic
memory foam, not the spongy crap the copycats use.
Many who copy this design have no idea how it works! The tailbone cut-out is the
back
of the seat cushion to ease strain on your tailbone and spine. I mean, use some common sense here. Other eBay sellers who carry the knock-offs have them pictured with the cut-out in the front - see my last picture above.
