1990's Size L Vintage Black Diamond Snap Front Gaiters. I used these kinds of gaiters on most occasions where I needed something to take me from 3,000ft going through rocks and trails to 14,000ft on snow.
Designed to keep out everything they can: ice, snow, foxtails, thorny sticks, rock-bite, and moisture these vintage 1994/1995 TALL Black Diamond gaiters feature all of the things you expect: a full-height design with a two-layer waterproof breathable GORE-TEX upper and ballistic nylon lower with neoprene-coated instep straps keeps it securely fitted while climbing.
